For nearly two decades, I’ve been building beauty businesses while navigating the same realities so many artists experience — long hours, burnout cycles, balancing family and ambition, and constantly searching for a way to grow without losing yourself in the process.

I became a mother at eighteen. My daughter arrived before any blueprint did, and with that responsibility came clarity — I didn’t just need a job.

I needed ownership.
Flexibility.
Creative freedom.
A life I could design.

Hair school became the first step.

By the age of twenty-three, I opened my first salon, Flaunt, which quickly grew into a respected space known for elevated artistry and strong leadership. Five years later, I successfully sold the business after outgrowing the container it had once provided.

From there, my career expanded internationally.

Through Studio Me, I worked between Puerto Vallarta and Mexico City as a hair and makeup artist while continuing to grow businesses at home — balancing global work, entrepreneurship, and motherhood.

During that time, I recognized a major gap in the extension market and created my own solution.

That idea became Lux Hair, which later evolved into Luxury Hair Club, a premium extension brand and education platform dedicated to helping stylists master both their craft and their business.

Along the way, I also explored other creative ventures — including travelling to Bali to design my own lingerie and swimwear line, Bonobo XO, and working directly with manufacturers to develop beauty products and brand concepts.

Each project added a new layer of insight into what it truly takes to build and sustain a beauty brand.

Twenty years into my career, I welcomed my son, Kane.

After years of growing businesses, leading teams, travelling internationally, and mentoring artists, I reached a realization that many high-performing beauty professionals eventually face:

It led me to create JU-ENE, a beauty and wellness concept rooted in lymphatic therapy, restoration, and nervous-system support — because beauty professionals deserve the same level of care they provide for others.
